Once there they will have games, build a campfire, learn scouting skills, and cook on the fire. To be prepared for this event scouts should bring the following:

1. Hiking Backpack
2. Sleeping Bag
3. Hiking Shoes with appropriate socks
4. Water Bottle
5. Pillow (optional)
6. Bug Spray (non-aerosol)
7. Should wear pants or knee-high socks to avoid poison ivy

“Camp is the best, it is so much fun I never want to go home!”

Cub Family and Parent & Pal Weekends are an overnight camping experience involving parent and cub scout couples, and cub scout families. Our camps provide the key elements of a fun outdoor experience to include staff, meals, tentage, and program. The Cub Scout Camping activities for the weekend provide a wonderful backdrop to experience quality time with your son and/or family. The schedule is flexible so couples and families can choose the program areas they wish to take part in, and allows time to just relax.

Cub Scout and Webelos Scout Resident Camp is the highlight of the Cub Scouting year, and is the key experience that will guarantee your boys will be excited about your Pack's program for the upcoming year. It is a proven fact that boys who go to camp stay in the Pack. It also infuses your leaders with enthusiasm, too. Resident Camps are fun for boys and leaders alike, and provide the outdoor classroom as a safe and healthy environment. Activities include swimming, boating, archery and BB guns, crafts, sports, nature study, campfires, and just good clean fun with all his buddies.
Campers stay in tents with cots, eat at our dining hall, and take warm showers. We also have a full-time health officer to take care of their medical needs. The health and safety of our boys is our staff's number one priority. Our nationally trained and certified staff stands ready to give your son a summer camp experience that will expand his horizons and provide fond scouting memories.
